Live Portrait Studio for Sydney Weddings and events
Our Portrait Booth Sydney brings professional photography to your event with a private, engaging session for each guest. An alternative to the traditional photo booth. It’s a high-end interactive experience with our world class photographers.
Our photographer uses a handheld camera to guide every guest through a short portrait session. Alongside our photographers is an assistant who may be blowing a soft wind or grabbing a wooden box for your guests to sit on to create the perfect portrait. Your images will then be sent over to our editor who will retouch the images. Guests will then scan the QR code to download their edited images and return later to collect their A4 print.

Our photographers guide guests on how to pose for the camera. The portrait booth is not run by a screen, instead it is a one-of-a-kind experience with an experienced photographer and team.
Prints collected during the event
After each session our editor will edit each photo live during the night. Each print will be pinned to the gallery wall where guests can return to collect their portraits.
Signature Black and White or Colour Edit
Our editor edits live on the night, enhancing each image to our black and white or colour edit. We highlight eyes, retouch skin and give each image an overall glow to achieve our signature edit. This is chosen before your event date.
Professional studio setup
Our large softbox creates a flattering soft light that wraps around each guest, creating a beautiful reflection in close ups. Each portrait booth hire also includes posing table for your guests to lean on, wooden posing blocks and a small fan to create a soft breeze.
Instant Digital Download
Guests can also scan unique QR code at the Portrait Booth to access digital versions of each portrait as they are edited and uploaded.

Unlimited personal portrait sessions
Guests can come individually or in groups and receive a personal session with our portrait photographer who will guide them on how to stand and pose.

The portrait booth will be run by one of our experienced photographers who will capture beautiful portraits of your guests.
Professional editor
Our editor will be seated by the backdrop and editing images as soon as they are taken by our photographer.
Set assistant
Our assistant will help with details during the event such as moving props around such as posing tables, seating blocks and directing wind to create the most flattering shots for your guests.
A4 Prints collected during the event
Each guest will be able to return to the portrait booth during the event to collect their printed A4 portrait.
Black and white or colour edit

Studio lighting, equipment and backdrop Options
We use a large softbox to create beautiful soft studio lighting. Select from black or white sweep, muslin, or velvet backdrops with optional checkered flooring to suit your event.

How much space do you need for the portrait studio?
We need a clear, unobstructed area measuring at least 4m x 4m space against a solid wall, with no furniture, plants, or hanging decor.
Do you provide access to all the portraits after the event?
Yes, after your event you will receive a secure online gallery with every portrait taken.
Do the photos come in black-and-white, colour, or both?
You can choose to have all of your guest portraits edited in either black-and-white or colour before your event.
What's the difference between Portraits, Glam and Classic Booth?
Portraits a high-end personalised experience run by our experienced photographers, editors and assistants. We guide your guests on how to pose and provide a professionally edited print for each guest to take home. While the open Glam booth and enclosed Classic booth are designed to be interactive photo experiences where guests choose options from the screen.
When should I book the portrait studio?
We recommend booking as soon as possible! We are booking out quickly for the coming year.
What can I customise in the portrait studio?
You can add your logo to the print layout. You can also choose between a black or white full body backdrop or select our muslin or velvet draped backdrop with an optional black and white checkerboard flooring.
What are the power and WiFi requirements?
We will need access to one standard power point and a stable WiFi connection.
Can we have the portrait studio outside?
Yes. We just need a flat surface, access to power and WiFi, and a tent or awning if there’s a chance of rain.
How long does setup and pack down take?
Setup takes 2 hours and pack down takes 1 hour.
How many people can fit in one portrait?
For full body and waist up shots we can fit up to 8 people in one shot. For close ups we can fit up to 4 people in one shot. Our photographer will take a range of shots depending on the guests in each session.

Submit your design preferences using our styling form and designer will create a custom photo layouts and logo to match your event.
04 Make final payment
Pay your remaining balance is due 1 month before your event. Then everything is set and ready to go. We’ll see you on the big day!
